Tell Orchard28 what you need — a better price, a hotel for next weekend,
tickets the second they drop. We dispatch an autonomous agent that searches,
selects, and completes the transaction — assisted,
with your tap to approve, or autonomous,
within limits you pre-authorise.

How it works
Two ways to ride.
Every run is either assisted — you approve the purchase in the moment — or
autonomous, where you pre-authorise the spend and the agent executes the instant
your conditions are met. Either way, you set the limits and the agent stays
inside them.
Assisted transactions
You approve every purchase, in the moment.
The default mode. The agent does all the legwork and pauses at checkout — money only moves after your tap.
1
Set the destination
Describe the outcome in plain language: “Find me a quiet 4-star hotel in Lisbon under €150 a night.”
2
The agent handles selection
It searches the market, compares hundreds of options against your preferences and budget, and commits to the single best pick.
3
You approve the transaction
The agent presents the pick and the exact price — as a push notification on your phone or in the web app. You commit the payment with your card PIN via CPoI, making it a fully authorised, card-present transaction. Nothing happens without you.
4
The agent performs the transaction
On approval, it completes checkout end to end — payment, confirmation, receipts — and files proof of purchase back to you.
Typical ride
“Book me a hotel in Lisbon for the weekend of Oct 12 — I want the final say.”
You tap Approve Then the agent pays
Autonomous transactions
You authorise once, the agent strikes when the moment comes.
For time-critical purchases where waiting for a tap means losing the deal. You prime the agent with payment and hard limits up front — it executes the instant your conditions are met.
1
Prime the agent
Give it the mission and the guardrails in advance: what to buy, the maximum price, and how long the hunt may run.
2
Pre-authorise the payment
You approve the spend before the hunt starts, committing it with your card PIN via CPoI — fully authorised and card-present from the outset. The authorisation is capped at your maximum and expires with the deadline — the agent can never exceed either.
3
The agent watches the market
It monitors availability around the clock — on-sale moments, restocks, price drops — ready to act in seconds, not minutes.
4
It buys the instant conditions match
The moment your criteria are met, the agent completes the purchase within the pre-authorised cap and pings you with the confirmation and receipt. If the deadline passes with no match, the authorisation lapses and nothing is charged.
Classic use case
“Get me 2 tickets for the Rosewood Falls tour the moment they drop — max €120 each, within the next 2 weeks.”
Capped at €240 Authorisation expires in 14 days Executes in seconds
Under the hood
How the solution works.
Five layers between your request and your receipt — built so the agent has all
the autonomy it needs to do the work, and none over your money.
1
Intent engine
Your request becomes a mission brief
Orchard28 turns your plain-language request into a structured brief: what to get, hard constraints, budget ceiling, and deadline. Ambiguities are clarified up front — not mid-purchase.
2
Agent runtime
A specialist agent works the market
The right agent for the job — shopping, hotels, selection — browses merchants and booking sites the way a person would, in a sandboxed runtime. It reads real prices, real availability, real reviews.
3
Selection engine
Options are scored, not guessed
Every candidate is scored against your brief: total cost, quality signals, cancellation terms, delivery time. The agent commits to a single best pick and keeps ranked alternates ready.
4
Approval layer
The platform holds the wallet, not the agent
Payment credentials live in the Orchard28 approval layer — agents never see them. You approve each purchase in the moment, or pre-authorise a capped amount up front for autonomous runs. No authorisation, no charge. Ever.
5
Transaction layer
A one-time card completes the purchase
On approval we issue a single-use virtual card — backed by your Visa, Mastercard or American Express — capped at the approved amount and valid only for that merchant. We’re proud to use CPoI (paywithCPoI.com): you commit the payment with your own card PIN, making it a fully authorised, card-present transaction with liability shifting to the issuer. The agent checks out, confirms, and files the receipt and audit trail back to you.
Autonomous transactions
A purchase with a safety catch.
An autonomous transaction is a purchase the agent completes without a tap at
checkout — because you already approved it, in advance, under strict conditions.
You commit the authorisation yourself with your card PIN through CPoI, so the
spend is fully authorised and card-present from the start, with liability
sitting with the issuer. You define the boundaries once; the agent can act
instantly inside them and not at all outside them.
How you stay in control
🔒
Hard price cap
You pre-authorise a maximum amount before the hunt starts. The payment instrument is capped at that figure — the agent couldn’t overspend even if it tried.
⏳
Time window
Every authorisation carries an expiry date. When the window closes, it lapses automatically — there are no open-ended mandates.
🎯
Precise brief
Exact item, quantity, and quality constraints are locked in up front. “Close enough” is not a match — the agent buys what you specified or nothing at all.
🛑
Kill switch
Cancel the hunt at any moment with one tap. The authorisation is revoked instantly and the agent stands down — no questions, no charge.
Executes only if every condition is true
Example · concert ticket hunt
✓
Exact match
2 tickets · Rosewood Falls tour · standing
AND
✓

⚡

authorisation simply lapses. €0.
The fleet
Agents for every errand.
Each Orchard28 agent is purpose-built for one job and trained to do it end to
end — search, selection, approval, transaction.
🛒
Shopping Agent
Your buyer in the market
Hunts across retailers for exactly what you asked for — the right spec, the right size, the best total price with shipping — and puts it in front of you ready to buy.
“Find the cheapest genuine replacement battery for my laptop, delivered this week.”
🏨
Hotel Agent
Your travel desk on call
Scans hundreds of properties, cross-checks reviews, location, and cancellation terms against your preferences, and holds the best room until you say go.
“Book me a quiet 4-star near the old town, Oct 12–15, under €150 a night.”
⚖️
Selection Agent
Decision-making, delegated
When there are hundreds of candidates and one right answer, this agent scores every option against your criteria and hands you a ranked shortlist with the trade-offs spelled out.
“Pick the best broadband plan for a 4-person household that works from home.”
✅
Approval Checkpoint
You hold the wallet
Every run pauses at the moment of truth. The agent shows you the exact item, the exact price, and why it chose it. Approve, decline, or swap — nothing is charged without your tap.
One notification. One decision. Full control.
💳
Transaction Agent
Checkout, completed
On your approval it executes the purchase end to end: payment, booking confirmation, loyalty numbers, receipts — then files the paperwork back to you automatically.
Confirmation and receipt in your inbox before you look up.

Why Orchard28
Uber changed how you get around. We change how you get things done.
The model is the same: request, dispatch, track, pay. The difference is that our
drivers are autonomous AI agents — and the trip is your to-do list.
Ride-hailing
Orchard28
You set a destination
You describe an outcome — a purchase, a booking, a decision.

You watch the ride live
You follow every step: what it searched, what it shortlisted, why it chose.
You pay in-app, no surprises

Approval-first, always
No agent can spend a cent without your explicit go-ahead — given in the moment, or pre-authorised up front with a hard cap and expiry. You commit every authorisation with your own card PIN through CPoI, making it a fully authorised, card-present transaction — with liability shifting to the card issuer, not you.
Spending limits & rules
Set per-run budgets, category caps, and standing rules like “never book non-refundable.” Agents operate strictly inside your guardrails.
A receipt for everything
Every search, shortlist, decision, and payment is logged. You get a full audit trail of what your agent did and why — plus the actual receipts.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
The things people ask before they hand an errand to an agent. Something else on
your mind? Talk to us.
What exactly is Orchard28?
Orchard28 dispatches autonomous AI agents that complete real-world errands end to end — finding the item, comparing the options, and completing the purchase. Think of it like ride-hailing: you set the destination (a hotel booked, tickets secured, the right product at the right price) and a purpose-built agent does the driving.
Can an agent spend my money without me knowing?
No. Every purchase is either approved by you in the moment (assisted mode) or pre-authorised by you in advance with a hard cap and expiry date (autonomous mode). The payment instrument itself is capped — an agent physically cannot charge more than you authorised, and payment credentials never leave the platform’s approval layer.
How do autonomous transactions stay safe?
An autonomous run only executes when every condition you set is true at the same time: the exact item, at or under your price cap, inside your time window, with the authorisation still active. If any single condition is false, nothing is bought. If the window expires without a match, the authorisation lapses and you pay nothing. You can also cancel any run instantly with the kill switch.
What does it cost?
You pay a small dispatch fee when an agent completes a run — from $1.99 pay-as-you-go, or $19/month for 15 included runs. The purchase itself goes to the merchant at their price; Orchard28 adds no markup and takes no cut. And if an agent can’t find something you approve, the run is free.
What happens if the agent picks something I don’t like?
In assisted mode, nothing happens until you approve — you can decline the pick or swap to one of the ranked alternates the agent keeps ready. In autonomous mode the brief is exact by design: “close enough” is not a match, so the agent buys precisely what you specified or nothing at all.
Which payment methods can I use?
Orchard28 works with Visa, Mastercard and American Express. For each approved purchase we issue a single-use virtual card backed by your card, capped at the approved amount and valid only for that merchant.
How are transactions authorised?
With CPoI, from paywithCPoI.com — we’re proud to build on it. You, the cardholder, commit every approval (or autonomous pre-authorisation) with your own card PIN. That makes it a fully authorised, card-present transaction — the strongest authorisation the card networks recognise — and fraud liability shifts to the card issuer rather than resting with you or the merchant.
How does CPoI protect me, the cardholder, in agentic commerce?
Your PIN is the one secret the agent never has. Nothing can move money — not an approval, not an autonomous pre-authorisation — until you personally commit it with your PIN through CPoI, so a run can never be spent by anyone or anything but you. Because the transaction is PIN-verified and card-present, there is cast-iron proof that every charge traces back to your explicit commitment, inside the cap and window you set. And if something still goes wrong, you are not the liable party: card-present rules put fraud liability on the issuer, and the CPoI commitment plus our audit trail makes any dispute quick and clean.
How does CPoI protect the seller in agentic commerce?
The seller’s biggest fear with agentic commerce is the chargeback that says “I never authorised that agent.” CPoI removes it: every purchase arriving from an Orchard28 agent is a PIN-verified, card-present transaction, so the seller has the strongest authorisation evidence the card networks recognise and fraud liability sits with the issuer, not the merchant. Combined with our capped single-use virtual cards, sellers get guaranteed, dispute-resistant settlement — which is exactly what lets them welcome agent traffic instead of blocking it.
Where can I use Orchard28?
On the web and — with early access — as native apps for iOS and Android. Runs sync across all three, so you can brief an agent from your laptop and approve the result from a push notification on your phone.
What do you do with my data?
As little as possible. The website collects only what you give us (an email for the access list, or your contact details for an enquiry), sets no tracking cookies, and we never sell personal information. Every agent run produces a full audit trail that belongs to you. The details are in our privacy notice.

Notes from the orchard.
Essays on agentic AI, autonomous transactions, and trust engineering.
Uber settled the question of who signs the receipt a decade ago. Agentic commerce inherits the same answer — and the lift to make it work today is smaller than it looks.
When software spends money while you sleep, promises aren’t enough. Independent certification is how every party in an agentic transaction knows it’s safe — and Orchard28 holds that bar today.
Corporate travel is the most rule-bound purchase in business — which makes it the perfect job for an agent. Policy-faithful bookings, one PIN tap on the corporate card, and about $53 saved every time a human doesn’t have to do it.
